ADVENTURE CLIMBING INSPIRATION TO CLIMB AN ICEBERG

A little adventure porn to start your weekend off right!

This is from a GoPro expedition to try and capture footage of ice climbers summiting an iceberg. Enjoy!

Hop aboard La Louise as we venture through the arctic waters of Greenland's Disko Bay in search for the ultimate iceberg to summit with professional ice climbers Klemen Premrl and Aljaz Anderle. The icebergs are very fragile and unstable and to make it to the top the climbers must learn a valuable life lesson. Shot 100% on the HERO4® camera from ‪http://GoPro.com. CANYONEERING INSPIRATION FROM ADVENTURE FILM DOWN THE LINE

Right about the time this is posted, I'll be meandering down a pathway to the Das Boot entrance of the Subway in Zion National Park. I love canyoneering and I'm quickly adding some remote destinations to my list of canyons to explore. This weeks film comes from the newly explored canyons of British Columbia.

A handful of dedicated Vancouverites are bringing a new sport to their local mountains, a sport that has always been linked exclusively to Utah and the Alps: Canyoneering. Against all expectations, the surroundings of Vancouver are an amazing playground for canyoneers, and one thing sets the region apart from all others: none of these canyons have ever been explored. Nobody even knows where they are. OUTDOOR INSPIRATION TO SKI WITH INTO THE MIND

I thought I would get in a quick ski movie for a little inspiration to get outside and enjoy the last of the ski season. The full film is incredible and shot so well it really upped the ante for the ski film industry. Thanks Sherpas Cinema for getting the old heart pumping!

NOW AVAILABLE on iTunes: https://itunes.apple.com/movie/into-the-mind/id711353038 DVD/BluRay Orders and Tour Info: www.intothemindmovie.com Follow us: facebook.com/sherpascinema Watch Into the Mind Teaser 2: https://vimeo.com/75775481 From the makers of All.I.Can comes the new feature film: INTO THE MIND. Blur the lines between dream state and reality, as you perceive the world through the minds of many. Into the Mind contemplates the experiences passed between mentors and peers to paint a philosophical portrait of human kind. What drives us to overcome challenge? How do we justify risk? What forces are at the core of a mountain addiction? Unique athlete segments over a multitude of mountain sport genres depict the connectivity of Earth, and window into never seen before moments. Explore how we begin our perception of self, construct the foundations of confidence, and are ultimately led up the path of self-actualization. As Buddha once said, “The mind is everything. What you think you become.” Into The Mind is about becoming. CLIMBING INSPIRATION FILM LA DURA COMPLETE

This weeks adventure film features Chris Sharma and Adam Ondra on the "hardest rock climb in the world." I don't know if this is true given the recent completion of the Dawn Wall by Tommy Caldwell and Kevin Jorgeson. Regardless, this looks pretty damn hard. Enjoy your weekend!

Chris Sharma and Adam Ondra spent two years working together to climb La Dura Dura (5.15c / 9b+), the world's hardest climb. This film tells the story of their unique collaboration and shows Adam's historic first ascent and Chris' second ascent. Presented by prAna, Black Diamond, Sterling Rope, Evolv, Petzl, and Walltopia.
